Ceiba International, LLC formally known as Ceiba Adventures, Inc. was launched in 1985. Whitewater river trips on the famous Rio Usumacinta along the Mexico/Guatemala border and Mayan Ruin tours in Chiapas, Mexico were our first trip offerings.

Ceiba quickly became a well-respected travel outfitter in the region and expanded with a full range of adventure offerings in whitewater trips, Maya archaeology, overland tours, birding excursions and our exclusive caving trips. Our headquarters while in Mexico is in the centrally located town of Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico.

Since then, Ceiba has made many first descents on rivers throughout southern Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. We also have pioneered some of the deepest and most technical caves in the western hemisphere. This experience has prompted the adventure film industry to utilize Ceiba's expertise to coordinate, organize and assist in many film projects, including Emmy Award winners, over the last two decades.

Our base of operations is in the cool pines of Flagstaff, Arizona. The jump off point for trips into the Grand Canyon region and the Colorado Plateau.
